What a whirlwind travel month! I have been remiss in keeping you up to date. Please grab a snack. Then keep reading, because I’m saving the most exciting news for last!

In September, I led our Marketing Growth Leaders offsite, hosted by CoStar Group. We welcomed the iconic Sally Helgesen. She’s a fellow 100 Coaches colleague and the author of seven award-winning books including Rising Together. Our inspired group walked away with tangible actions to fuel higher team engagement and effectiveness.

I also returned to MEA in Lamy, New Mexico. I spent eight glorious desert days learning from dear friend Chip Conley. Together with 21 other compadres from across the world, we immersed ourselves in the Owning Wisdom retreat.

I made lifelong friends and deepened my understanding of major transitions. By mapping my own hero’s journey, I am able to better serve my clients.

Oh, and I connected with Wicozani, a blue roan mare originally from Standing Rock Indian Reservation.  Words cannot describe this encounter. Just waves of awe.

MEA’s curriculum, wide open skies, and sublime surroundings continue to fill my soul. You’ll hear more about it in a future issue.
Then–the icing on my pumpkin cake–Two keynote milestones.

It started with my IMEX America keynote. This marked my maiden voyage to this 15,000 person strong conference-palooza. It’s designed to unite event planners with destination travel experts. The Las Vegas conference vibe? Joyful, gigantic, and grand.

Why did I design this video? It’s mostly for your benefit. To help YOU kick start innovation and growth in this challenging economy.

This video and topic can be tailored to align with your conference theme:

AI-Powered Innovation: 3 Transition Strategies for Turbulent Times

Th bottom line: While working with senior growth leaders, I see the same pattern: they struggle to navigate high-stakes transitions.

AI, the new world of work, and geopolitics are moving at warp speed—and they’re disrupting how we live, lead, and learn right now.

We don’t need another playbook. We need a new mindset—an innovation approach that reduces fear and welcomes flow.

After advising and training over 19,000 leaders worldwide, guiding corporate transformations for three decades, and swimming open water in dozens of places and islands for 40+ years, I’ve learned a lot. Over that time, I discovered three essential mindsets and habits.

1. Adopt experimentation – Make progress, not perfection your mantra.
2. Amplify for alignment – Bring teams together around shared values and outcomes. Lather, rinse, repeat.
3. Embrace awe – Let curiosity and wonder fuel creativity and resilience.
