I just returned from a magical 11-day trip to California and Hawaii. I have always enjoyed combining my personal travel with business travel, as it affords me the opportunity to see more of “my people.” It also makes efficient use of my travel time. And let’s face it – travel is not exactly a glamorous experience. I experienced first-hand some of the new rules of travel during a pandemic. You might be planning your summer vacations and cannot wait to get out of the house (and have been fully vaccinated, also). Hope these are helpful.

As we enter the holiday weeks ahead, we might be anticipating some difficult discussions with loved ones, over-packed Zoom meetings and multiple (physically distanced) gatherings. This has been a politically and socially charged year, to say the least.

That’s why I was happy to spend time with Ben Wolf on “The Win Win” podcast to discuss very tangible methods to apply mindfulness in our daily interactions.

Here are some of the highlights:

05:30 –…

With the holidays approaching, it’s easy to let things slip. A cookie here, a late weeknight there. That extra shot of bourbon over dinner. Before you know it, ten pounds and ten percent more body fat surreptitiously appear.
Several of my clients have asked what life habits I’ve accumulated over the past decade—a decade that has proven to be transformational for me.
Without healthy leadership habits, I simply don’t know how I would have transitioned to a new home and adapted to living on my own for the first time in 30 years.
I sincerely hope you find solace and an extra shot of productivity from my list.
